Privacy Policy

What we collect when you use this website or TaskSpur, why we collect it, and how to have it removed.

Effective October 23, 2026

1Who we are

TheBrandSpur LLC (“TheBrandSpur,” “we,” “us”) runs inventory and supply chain operations for e-commerce brands. This policy covers thebrandspur.com: the pages you browse, the inventory audit form, and the call booking that follows it. It also covers TaskSpur, our client portal, including the people whose messages appear in it.

Our ShipSpur software, which connects to Amazon, Shopify, and Google Sheets, has its own policy. Read the ShipSpur Privacy Policy for how it handles account data.

For information you give us through this website, we decide how it is used, so we are the controller. When we handle data on behalf of a client through our services and software, the client’s signed services agreement and data processing addendum govern that data, not this policy.

2What we collect, at a glance

WhereWhatWhyKept for
Inventory audit form Name, email, phone, company, website, monthly revenue range, sales channels, your biggest challenge, and any notes you add To prepare your audit and contact you about it Until your request is complete, or until you ask us to delete it
Call booking The time you pick, your time zone, and the contact details above To schedule the call and send you a calendar invite with a Google Meet link As long as the calendar event exists, or until you ask us to delete it
Browsing the site Pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring site, through Google Analytics To see which pages are useful and fix the ones that aren’t Event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months, then it is deleted
TaskSpur Messages from the Slack, email, and WeChat accounts a client connects, with the names and contact details of the people in them To turn messages into tasks with an owner and a due date, shown in the client’s portal As set out in the client’s services agreement
Email and phone Whatever you send us when you write or call To answer you Until your request is complete, or until you ask us to delete it

We don’t ask for payment details or access to your Amazon, Shopify, or Google accounts on this website. If an audit needs account data, we ask for it separately and only with your consent.

3TaskSpur

When a client connects Slack, email, or WeChat to TaskSpur, the messages in those channels become tasks in the client’s portal. That means TaskSpur handles personal information about people who never visited this website: supplier contacts, the client’s staff, and anyone copied into a thread. This can include their names, email addresses, and the content of their messages.

  • We use this information only to create and track tasks for the client who connected the channel.
  • Only the client’s portal users and the TheBrandSpur team working on that account can see it.
  • We act for the client and follow the client’s instructions, so the client decides what to connect and what to keep.
  • We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to build profiles for ourselves.

If your messages appear in a client’s TaskSpur portal and you want a copy, a correction, or deletion, email info@thebrandspur.com. We will pass your request to the client, who decides on it, and help them respond.

4How we use your information

We use what you share only to do what you asked us to do:

  • Prepare your inventory audit and reach out to discuss it.
  • Schedule, confirm and, if needed, reschedule your call.
  • Answer questions you send by email or phone.
  • Understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.

We process this information because you requested a service from us, and because we have a legitimate interest in running this website securely. We use analytics cookies only with your consent. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.

5Who we share it with

We share information only with the services that run this website for us:

  • FormSubmit delivers your audit form answers to our inbox by email.
  • Google hosts our calendar and sends your meeting invite (Google Calendar and Meet), and measures site traffic (Google Analytics).
  • Esri serves the map tiles on the Contact page. The map loads only when you choose Show map, and doing so shares your IP address with Esri.

Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

6Where we process information

We are a United States company with team members in both the United States and Pakistan. The providers listed above process information in the United States. Members of our team in both locations access the information described in this policy in order to prepare your audit, answer your inquiry, and run our services.

7Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to tell new visits from returning ones. It loads only after you choose Accept in the cookie banner. If you choose Decline, no analytics cookies are set.

Change your choice at any time with the Cookies button in the footer. Declining clears the analytics cookies already set. The site works the same either way.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets two cookies: _ga, which lasts two years, and _ga_2HVM045PGN, which also lasts two years. Both are first-party cookies set on this domain. Declining removes them.

8How long we keep it

We keep form submissions, booking details and emails until your request is complete, or for as long as we work together. When you ask us to delete your information, we delete it without undue delay and within 30 days. We may keep some records longer if the law requires it.

Google Analytics keeps event data (the pages you view) for 2 months and user data (the identifiers that link your visits) for 14 months, and then deletes it.

9Security

  • Encryption: the site and form submissions use HTTPS/TLS.
  • Access controls: only team members who need your details to do their work can see them, and we remove their access when their role changes or they leave.
  • Secure engineering: credentials are kept out of source code, and changes are reviewed before they go live.

If we confirm a breach that puts your information at risk, we will tell you without undue delay, and within any period required by applicable law, and explain what we are doing about it.

10Automated systems

Our services and software use automated and AI-assisted tools, such as demand forecasting, supplier risk scoring, quality-check image review, and reconciliation matching. This website does not make decisions about you through automated processing. In our services, a person reviews decisions that materially affect someone.

11Your choices

Whoever you are and wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Access: send you a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Correct: fix information that is wrong or out of date.
  • Delete: remove your information.
  • Port: give you your information in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Object: stop contacting you.

Email info@thebrandspur.com to make any of these requests. We reply within 30 days. Where a request is complex or you have made several, we may extend this and will tell you why. You can cancel a booked call at any time from the calendar invite.

12California residents

In the past 12 months we collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, phone), commercial information (company, revenue range, sales channels), and internet activity and approximate location (pages viewed, device, and browser, through Google Analytics). We collect them from you directly and from your browser. We disclose them only to the service providers listed under “Who we share it with.”

We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA. You have the right to know, delete, and correct your information, and we will not treat you differently for using these rights. Email info@thebrandspur.com to make a request.

13Children’s privacy

This website is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

14Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will also tell anyone whose request is still open by email.

15Governing law

This policy and any dispute about it are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction.
